Downloading Audio Programs on Macintosh

for Your iPod or MP3 Player


 

iTunes and iPod

  1. Download the link to the audio program.
    Either use the right mouse button or press the Control key while clicking the mouse on the underlined hyperlink.

  2. Save the file to the Downloads folder on your computer.
    Choose "Download Linked File" from the popup menu.
    Wait for the file to download.

  3. Open iTunes.

  4. Import the audio file you just downloaded.
    Open the your Downloads folder in the Finder. (Go the Finder, open your personal folder, and double-click Downloads.)
    Select the audio file and drag it into the iTunes Music Library window.

    Alternatively, you can use the Add to Library command in iTunes.
    On the File menu, choose "Add to Library..."
    When the file dialog appears, browse to the Downloads folder, select your audio program, and click the Open button.
 

MP3 Player

  1. Right-Click or Control-Click the link to the audio program.
    Either use the right mouse button or press the Control key while clicking the mouse.

  2. Save the file to the Downloads folder on your computer.
    Choose "Download Linked File" from the popup menu.
    Wait for the file to download.

  3. Follow your MP3 player's directions for importing a song.
